Bruising

What is it?

Before you freak out, let me tell you that this is no biggie cause it heals faster than usual! You just tugged a tad bit harder and injured some capillaries by your hair follicles. So keep calm, Hunny!

Next steps...

Be calm and let it heal itself like how your regular bruises happen. Make sure to practice your flick because sometimes tugging too hard doesn’t always mean effective.

Redness

What is it?

Hey Hunny! It's no worries. This is a very common and normal reaction to every area you Hunnywax. The skin is just getting upset that you pulled out the hair that they worked hard to grow. You might even notice small, red bumps, but should be gone in a few hours!

Next steps...

Soothe the area with your choice of post-wax lotion, oil, or even just some good 'ol aloe vera to say bye-bye to the irritation

Overworked

Overworked Skin

What is it?

Let me guess...you had a few tiny hairs left and you continued to sugar over the same spot multiple times and now she's kinda mad. Sometimes this can also happen when you tug too hard that it peeled the layer of skin (defo an ouch).

Next steps...

Make sure to keep the area clean and avoid using skin-tight clothes as this may irritate the skin even more. Say goodbye to your deodorants and anything scented you put in this area for now 'til it heals.

Pinpoint
Pinpoint Bleeding

Pinpoint Bleeding

What is it?

Each hair follicle we have is connected to a blood vessel that allows hair to grow! So this explains as to why tiny speckles of blood appear when you successfully pull out hair from the root.

Next steps...

Don't panic, just clean up and carry on, Hunny!

When should I freak out? :o

Let's get waxing!
