Were there sacrifices made in order for you to have a chance to chase your passion?
Absolutely. I left behind the comfort and stability I had in Manila. It wasn’t easy, but it’s all been worth it. Living on Siargao and pursuing my passions has been such a rewarding adventure.
What pushed you to place yourself out of your comfort zone?
I wanted to break free from the conventional system and seek a life that truly resonated with me. It was all about finding room for personal growth and embracing what felt most connected to my heart.
Would you recommend people to chase their dreams even though it could be the road less traveled?
Yes. Pursuing your dreams, even if it means taking an unconventional path, can be incredibly rewarding. It requires dedication and perseverance, but the journey is often as valuable as the destination.
Has chasing your passion gotten you to a situation where you wanted to give up? If so, how did you persevere?
There were moments of doubt and life the island can be overwhelming. But, I always remembered why I started and why I chose this way of life. Staying connected on my passion and surrounding myself with supportive people helped me push through those tough times.
What would be your message of inspiration to others who want to chase their dreams and passion like you?
Nothing good comes easy… so work hard until your dreams start chasing you.
