It’s our 3rd birthday! Hunnywax was founded by two De La Salle University undergraduates, Cass and Nikki! Last June 2020, our baby was born out of the quest for total self-love and carefree confidence. Even at the height of covid-19, we did not let the pandemic get in the way of our hair removal needs. As two naturally hairy human beings, the pandemic has brought the closure of waxing salons so we decided to take matters into our own hands and create a brand that celebrates loving yourself in the simplest way possible.
Building the foundation of Hunnywax was an adventure, to say the least. Cass brought her marketing magic, making sure the world knows about the sweet, sweet benefits of Hunnywax. Meanwhile, Nikki unleashed her strategic skills, nailing down the business plans. We went together like yin and yang and slowly we built the brand to what it is now.
Creating the perfect Hunnywax recipe was a rollercoaster ride. We experimented like scientists, cooking up batch after batch after batch of wax until our feet were swollen and our homes smelled like a honey paradise. Finally, with the help of our master chef, we cracked the code and found the perfect Hunnywax formula for your easiest and most painless home waxing experience!
When we released Hunnywax into the world, we expected a small assemblage from our friends and family. But oh hunny, we were in for a surprise! The buzz around Hunnywax was electric, and orders flooded us in tidal waves. Our small family of three had to grow ASAP to keep up with the demand and ensure that every Filipina feels pampered in the comfort of their own homes. Three years, two college graduates, and thousands of jars later we became a one big happy family with 15 Hunnywax men and women.
To all the hunnies who have joined us on this incredible Hunnywax adventure, we just want to say a heartfelt thank you! Your love and trust for our brand have been the fuel that propels us forward. Your support has made all our hard work, late nights, and honey-scented days worthwhile. Looking back on our journey, we can't help but feel grateful for the incredible support we’ve received. Three years in, were riding the wave of success, sharing the sweetness with all of you. And we’re just getting started!
