How to hot wax with Hunnywax

WHAT IS HOT WAXING?

Hot waxing is when you heat up Hunnywax before application! It is just as effective as cold waxing because hair is being pulled from the root - leaving a flawless finish! It just boils down to preference on whether you like it cold or hot ;)
Ways to heat your Hunnywax
Microwave
The easiest way to heat up your wax!

Simply pop your jar in the microwave without the lid and microwave it for 30 seconds at a time for the big jar and 15 seconds at a time for the mini jar until the wax is soft enough to spread!
Candle Warmer
Here's a little hack if you have a candle warmer!
Heat your Hunnywax jar on high heat under a candle warmer until it's soft enough to spread! You may also keep it under the warmer on low heat to prevent it from getting harder during your wax session!
Pan Heating
Don't have a microwave? Don't worry because you may use a pan on a stove to heat your Hunnywax up!

STEP 1: Place your Hunnywax jar on a pan​

STEP 2: Fill the pan with water just enough to surround 1/2 of the jar
​
STEP 3: Bring your flame up to low-medium heat until it comes to a rolling boil
​
STEP 4: Carefully touch your wax every now and then with a spoon or applicator to check if it is soft enough to spread!
! CAUTION !
Hot wax is VERY HOT when heated!

Always, always make sure to touch a small portion before applying it on your skin to prevent burning yourself!
Soak in boiling water
STEP 1: Boil some water and find a basin/bowl as tall as your jar​
​
STEP 2: Fill your basin with fresh boiling water just enough to surround 3/4 of the jar until the wax softens
​
STEP 3: Carefully touch your wax every now and then with a spoon or applicator to check if it is soft enough to spread!

This method usually takes 20-30 minutes but you can make the process faster by replacing the water with fresh boiling water every now and then to soften the wax faster!
Hair Dryer
This is our ultimate travel hack! Use your hair dryer on the highest heat setting to melt your wax until it's spreadable!
